Protein is most important: from the Greek "proteos", meaning "primary" or "that which comes first". In addition to a diet rich in clean protein, such as wild caught fish, organic grass fed meat, poultry and dairy, as well as organic raw nuts, supplementing is a good idea. As we age we lose muscle mass—and it's not easy to get back, without proper intake of protein and vigorous exercise.
Protein supplement options are limited—whey, soy (which we categorically avoid), rice, pea and hemp protein powders are everywhere in the marketplace. We have tried many—even a grass fed organic A2 whey. None feel right in the stomach and when we discovered Master Amino Acid Pattern™ (MAP™), we learned why.
It takes only 23 minutes for MAP™ to be utilized, as opposed to 3-6 hours for protein powders. MAP™ is well digested, and absorbed.
Ingredients: Patented proprietary blend of (non-soy) legumes. Amount per serving (5 tablets) of MAP™ is 5000 mg: L-Leucine, L-Valine, LIsoleucine, L Phenylalanine, L-Threonine, L-Methionine, L-Tryptophan, L-Lysine .
Dietary use: 5 per day. Exercise use: 5-10 tablets 30 min. prior to physical activity. Or as recommended by a physician.
